After spending the last 40 years vacationing on Long Beach Island at our parent s home on the bay in Brant Beach, my siblings and I had an amazing opportunity this year to purchase a neighboring home. We have so many happy memories of both our own childhood and of watching our children jumping waves, surfing, tubing, crabbing and just relaxing in the sun with a good book.

We love the central location of our new home which is midway between Beach Haven and Barnegat Light. It is steps to Daddy O s, where you can get a refreshing cocktail on the roof deck or a great meal in the restaurant, often with live music. We are also steps to Bagels & Beyond, Oh Fudge and a bike shop where you can rent or buy. Within walking or biking distance are all the amenities of Ship Bottom, including The Arlington, Joe Pop s, Ship Bottom Shellfish, several mini golf courses, Ferrara s Bakery, Faria s Surf Shop, and countless others.

Our home itself is on a 125 bulkhead on the bay, with amazing views from Flat Island all the way down to Atlantic City. and it s only a 1.5 block walk to the beach. We formed an LLC when we purchased this property that we called “Flat Island Sunsets,” because the sunsets from both our parent s home and now this home are simply renewing. There is something to do at all times of day, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling in the backyard, playing games, listening to great music, and just enjoying life together.

Our hope is to share this great place with you so that you can make wonderful memories of your own.
